Hälsingegardar Kitchen Towel
Hälsingegardar Kitchen Towel
A nice dishcloth with all seven farms that are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The dishcloth is made in Sweden. It absorbs 15 times its own weight and because it is made of the natural materials cellulose from FSC-certified forests and cotton (from residual production), it is also compostable.
The World Heritage Site Hälsinge Farms consists of seven farms from the 19th century. They show how independent farmers who built their wealth on forests and flax production built new houses with separate rooms or their own buildings for parties. The farms and associated outbuildings are the highlight of a building tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages. The room suites and buildings are richly decorated with paintings. The owners hired itinerant and local painters for the task. More information about Hälsinge Farms can be found at https://www.regiongavleborg.se/halsingegardar
